Hero Falklands surgeon dies
RICK Jolly, the hero doctor of the Falklands War decorated by both sides for his work on the battlefield, has died aged 71.
The Surgeon-Captain, pictured, who was attached to the Royal Marines as Officer Commanding Medical Squadron, set up the Ajax Bay field hospital, treating soldiers on both sides of the 1982 conflict. Some 580 British and Argentinian lives were saved.
