world where there’s a dating app for every walk of life, one section of society seems to have been overlooked – toffs! It’s lucky then that high-society matchmaker Lydia Davis last week launched a site called Toffee – ‘the only app for the privately educated’.

Lydia hopes to recruit I’m A Celebrity winner Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, right, or Stowe-educated Superman actor Henry Cavill to be the face of Toffee, and she’s expecting at least half the cast of Made In Chelsea to sign up. Lydia says: ‘There is a niche for people who are privately educated. The app has a social calendar for events like Henley, and a graph that depicts how much time you spend in the country and how adventurous you are.’
