M&S unveils new range... in anti-terror
THIS isn’t just any counterterrorism campaign… this is a Marks & Spencer counterterrorism campaign.
The retailer has joined forces with police chiefs to teach shop workers around the country how to deal with atrocities.
The project consists of online videos telling staff how to spot suspicious behaviour, deal with bomb threats and how to respond to a mass shooting.
M&S helped to develop the ACT Awareness eLearning package and will sponsor its launch at a summit of security experts this week.
Detective Chief Superintendent Scott Wilson, police national coordinator for protective security, said: ‘All staff working in crowded places can follow the course and be in a stronger position to help protect themselves, colleagues and the public.’
