Defender Blind primed for return to Ajax as United accept £14m bid

DALEY BLIND is returning to Ajax after they agreed a £14million fee with Manchester United on Friday.

Talks have been ongoing between Ajax director Edwin van der Sar and his Manchester United counterparts to finalise a deal which could rise to £18.5m.

The 28-year-old Dutch international was due to travel with United next Saturday for their tour of the USA but Ajax were keen to get all of the negotiations wrapped up before he left.

A four-year contract has also been agreed for Blind who left Ajax for United in 2014 for £13.8m.
