FORGET Madonna v Elton: the music feud gripping me is opera diva Katherine Jenkins v Alfie Boe.

The butter-wouldn’t-melt duo have been at loggerheads since starring together in the West End show Carousel.

They first fell out over who had the No1 dressing room (turned out it was Katherine, even though Alfie was the lead); then who was going to take the final curtain call (Katherine again).

Now things have turned really nasty with Katherine accusing Alfie of defacing one of her promotional posters with an extremely rude expletive.

Katherine spotted the insult – the c-word scrawled across her face – at a record signing, where staff told her Boe was the culprit.

‘I don’t know what makes somebody do that,’ she says. Father-oftwo Alfie, nicknamed The People’s Tenor, denies it was him.

At least that’s one Christmas card fewer for both to send.
