SWIMMING:

Ross Murdoch smashed the 100metres Scottish breaststroke record yesterday in the Scottish Championships in Edinburgh.

The 2014 Commonwealth gold medallist also broke the national record when winning the 50m breaststroke on Friday night in the Royal Commonwealth Pool.
