Spurs are just two good for the Foxes

-

GOALS either side of halftime from Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli gave Tottenham a comfortable win at Leicester City which lifted them back into third.

Son struck a sweet shot in first-half injury time and Alli headed home on 58 minutes for the visitors.

West Ham came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at home.

Trailing to James McArthur’s early goal at half-time, Manuel Pellegrini’s side looked to have been heading for their first Premier League defeat in three matches.

However, Robert Snodgrass drew the hosts level three minutes after the interval with a 20-yard curling effort.

Javier Hernandez put West Ham ahead on 63 minutes, prodding home after Wayne Hennessey parried Felipe Anderson’s free-kick.

Anderson would not be denied, however, giving the Hammers a 3-1 lead two minutes later.

Jeffrey Schlupp got a goal back for Palace with 14 minutes left but West Ham held firm.

James Tarkowski was the match-winner as Burnley beat Brighton 1-0 to move out of the bottom three.

In a game of few chances, it was Tarkowski who was the hero at Turf Moor, turning in Jack Cork’s strike with his chest.

Life under Ralph Hasenhuttl has not picked up for Southampton after they lost 1-0 at Cardiff.

Callum Paterson got the only goal of the game.
