Trump aide quits amid ethics storm
PRESIDENT Donald Trump yesterday announced that his controversial Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke will leave the administration at the end of the year.
The President said that Mr Zinke, who faces investigations into his travel, political activity and potential conflicts of interest, ‘accomplished much during his tenure’.
Mr Zinke, 57, has been dogged by ethics probes, including one centred on a land deal in Montana involving a foundation he created and the chairman of a company that does business with the Interior Department. He has denied any wrongdoing.
