Nicola’s evil excuses

WOULD that Jackson Carlaw knew more about the evil wizard Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter novels. The Scottish Tory deputy leader last week accused Nicola Sturgeon of reading ‘excerpts from the First Minister’s big book of Voldemort’s excuses’. But Voldemort never made excuses for his wrongdoing – while the Scottish Government does little else.

AT the SNP party, Paisley MSP George Adam sported a Christmas jumper emblazoned with the Superman logo. Is it any wonder that a man who once supported the SNP’s ill-fated White Paper on independence dreams of a superhero who makes the impossible seem easy?
