Prue and Mary in baking tin battle

PRUE LEITH is hoping to rival the success of her Great British Bake Off predecessor Mary Berry by launching her own kitchenware products.

Ms Leith, 78, who reputedly earns more than £200,000 a year from Bake Off, has set up Prue Limited selling scales, timers, measuring cups, jugs and spoons.

And she could become as wealthy as Ms Berry, whose £15million fortune is due largely to her name-brand kitchenware products.
