Turkeys in the bath, Jack? You silly goose

COOKING after a night out on the tiles meant comedian Jack Whitehall nearly stuffed his Christmas celebrations.

Jack, 30, thought it might be a good idea to start preparing a festive feast – in his bath. At 1am.

‘One o’clock in the morning, we’ve just got back from a party,’ he told his Instagram followers. ‘We’re in our bathroom, running a bath to brine a couple of turkeys.’

Jack’s idea quickly went from bad to worse, as he plunged the birds into hot water instead of cold. Realising his blunder, Jack shrieked: ‘Get the hot tap off, they’re going to start cooking! Get them out, get them out!’
