Cheryl leads us all a merry dance

IT’S not just Cheryl who gets confused about her name. BBC director of content Charlotte Moore made a faux pas at last week’s launch of the pop star’s latest television project, The Greatest Dancer, by calling her ‘Cheryl Cole’ – using the surname of singer’s ex-husband Ashley – to introduce her to guests.

It’s an easy mistake to make, Charlotte. As my chart, right, reveals, the former Girls Aloud singer has changed her name five times in the past 12 years!
