Cover up, Camilla!

Crown actress’s mini-dress turns out to be just a little bit too mini...

REVEALING just a little more than befits a lady, this is the young Camilla as portrayed by Emerald Fennell in the new series of The Crown.

Playing the Duchess of Cornwall back when she was Camilla Shand – the stunning deb who turned heads in high society – Ms Fennell wears a daring mini-dress in our exclusive pictures.

But as she closes a car door in one scene, Ms Fennell’s skirt hitches up to reveal just a little too much of her legs – until an assistant quickly steps in to pull it down. The scene for the third season of The Crown – to be aired on Netflix later this year – was filmed in Pimlico, Central London, where Camilla lived when she is said to have first met Charles in 1970.

Ms Fennell, 33 – nurse Patsy Mount in Call The Midwife – said: ‘I absolutely love Camilla and am grateful that my teenage years have well prepared me for playing a chain-smoking serial snogger with a pudding-bowl haircut.’
