Trying to avoid the McQuestion
DOG was expecting a full and frank discussion of Scottish politics when the new BBC Scotland channel launches its McQuestion Time-style programme, but it seems it could be stifled by party control freaks. Apparently, any request for a Scottish Labour politician to appear on the panel will be vetted by party HQ to ensure only the most loyal Corbynistas are sent blinking into the TV lights. The edict came from Scottish Labour’s acting director of communications Richard Simcox – on secondment from Jeremy Corbyn’s office.
