Don’t cram before an exam

ALL-NIGHT study sessions won’t help you pass an exam – in fact, they will make you forget important details. According to a recent study published in the journal Neuroscience, the brain can form only a limited number of new connective pathways in one sitting. Neuroscientists from the University of Texas say that instead, we should learn one new piece of information every week, then after a few weeks, increase this to every day. This process significantly increases connectivity between neurons, which is a sign that the brain has retained information.
