Crawford pleased to get off mark

YESTERDAY’S match at Cappielow might have been the day for goalkeeper debuts, but neither Robby McCrorie or Ryan Scully had much to do for their new teams as Morton and Dunfermline ran out a lifeless goalless draw.

Stevie Crawford picked up his first point as Pars boss and said: ‘To come here with a bit of pressure on us, we’re very happy to come down here and get a clean sheet.’

Morton boss Jonaton Johansson added: ‘I was extremely pleased with our work rate.’
