Paula right on sporting dilemma
Paula Radcliffe is right to have weighed in on the debate as to whether women born as men can compete in women’s races if they switch sexes.
She rightly says the higher levels of testosterone in people born male will give them an advantage, and this should be taken into account. This is not to slight anyone transgender; it is just applying scientific logic. J. McLean, Manchester Because transgendering is a new dimension, it will take time to acclimatise to the changes.
