Your article last week, Our Islands Of Dreams, was a great reminder of what Scotland has to offer – tranquil beaches, wildlife, historic gems and views to die for.

As a lad, my school holidays were made up of running through fields, fishing, hiding in the long grass, playing moo with the cows and getting lifts on a tractor.
