POSING on a superyacht as you cruise the Med, dancing at Ibiza’s most expensive nightclub and quaffing seafood at a restaurant so expensive it doesn’t bother to list the eye-watering prices – welcome to a week in the luxury life of Daniella Helayel... who has just been declared bankrupt.
The Brazilian designer, 44, who made the Duchess of Cambridge’s sapphire ‘engagement dress’, seemed determined not to let her financial troubles spoil her holiday, as she posed onboard for Instagram pictures, alongside chums Katia Francesconi, fiancee of New York Giants owner Steve Tisch, and former Miss Brazil Natalya Anderle.
Katia was also with Daniella last month when the pair visited Cliveden House, England’s most expensive country hotel.
Last week the trio enjoyed a night out at Ibiza club Lío, where tables can cost £5,000 a night, a visit to the Blue Marlin Beach Club – sunbeds a mere £400 – and a trip to exclusive Formentera seafood restaurant Juan y Andrea where, darling, if you have to ask the price you can’t afford it! IT SEEMS Ellie Goulding isn’t afraid to think outside the box when it comes to weddings. Ahead of her Castle Howard reception yesterday, the pop star, 32, sent guests intricately carved wooden boxes filled with Big Day details, trinkets and a photo of herself and new husband Caspar Jopling, 27. Family and friends also received strict instructions to leave their mobiles at home. Now the wedding is over, keep checking eBay – I hear those boxes will be highly prized!
