MRS OBNOXIOUS: Kate Winslet

-

KATE WINSLET will be forever haunted by declaring on TV’s Who Do You Think You Are? that she’d be ‘disgusted’ to find out she was descended from wealth. Now I’ve dug up this chat from my archives. ‘I will never tire of the whole People Bringing Me Things in hotels,’ the privileged actress told me. ‘It’s brilliant; they always bring extra things... which I find rather thrilling.’ Kate (right), married to a cousin of Richard Branson, is worth £62 million. IRISH comedienne Aisling Bea has revealed how she was once told to ‘shut the f*** up when Daddy’s talking’ by a male colleague. Aisling – who found fame on the stand-up comedy circuit and on panel shows such as QI – admitted the comment almost broke her confidence.

‘After one show, I asked for feedback so I could get better,’ the 35-yearold said. ‘One of the male comedians said, “Put it this way; a panel show is a family and when Daddy is talking the little girl shuts the f*** up”.’

Aisling has banked millions starring alongside Hollywood comedy legend Paul Rudd in a new Netflix series – so who’s having the last laugh? IT SEEMS Ed Sheeran had a lucky escape when he broke up with fellow pop songwriter Nina Nesbitt. I can reveal Nina thrashes about so much in bed she has to be restrained by her new boyfriend Mike Duce. It’s not as kinky as it sounds. Nina (left) suffers from night terrors and lashes out so violently in her sleep that Mike, also a rocker, zips her into a sleeping bag as he tries to get some shut-eye. Nina, 25, reveals: ‘I do have a problem with violence in my sleep. I lash out and attack people. My boyfriend needs to get a sleeping bag to restrain me. I will shove and kick him but I am not aware of it. He thinks I secretly hate him.’
