Hollywood’s court fights with TWO former lovers
PAUL HOLLYWOOD is facing the prospect of battling both his ex-wife and ex-girlfriend in court, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. Former lover Summer MonteysFullam, 24, plans to sue the Great British Bake Off judge after he alleged on social media that she had been ‘making money selling stories and continuously courting paps’. The Mail on Sunday understands that Hollywood is refusing to back down after receiving a letter from Brett Wilson, the London-based law firm acting for the former barmaid. Instead, his solicitor Tom Amlot has written a stern reply, and the row is almost certain to end up in court. Hollywood, 53, is already preparing for a separate courtroom clash, this time with his ex-wife Alex over the terms of their divorce settlement. That case is expected to be heard later this year. ‘Paul’s view is that Summer hasn’t got a leg to stand on and he is in no mood to give in to this,’ a friend said. ‘He doesn’t intend to apologise nor indeed pay Summer any money, because he believes his words were true. The ball is now in Summer’s court and she isn’t giving in either. ‘Neither are prepared to move on from this. ‘Summer wants an apology from Paul for what he said in public about her – she is absolutely furious. Paul has bitten off so much more than he can chew here, especially with his forthcoming hearing with Alex.’ Ms Monteys-Fullam showed no signs of worry at the prospect of a legal battle as she spent Friday night drinking wine and cocktails at a beachside restaurant in Folkestone, Kent. Ms Monteys-Fullam, who wants to pursue a career in showbusiness, including potential stints on reality TV, was celebrating after signing a contract with acting agent Board Management. In an Instagram post before her night out, she wrote: ‘Can’t wait to go out with my lovely friends tonight to celebrate exciting new beginnings and ventures.’ She met Hollywood in 2017 when he was arranging a birthday party for Alex at the bar where she worked. They later began dating and moved into an £845,000 farmhouse in Kent.
But they split in July after the presenter asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from discussing their relationship.
A spat on social media ensued, with Hollywood claiming she had collaborated with the media. In a furious response, Ms Monteys-Fullam said she was ‘very disappointed and distressed by false and highly defamatory statements’.
She added: ‘I have no alternative but to instruct my solicitors… to pursue legal proceedings against Paul in order to obtain vindication.’ Ms Monteys-Fullam did not respond to a request for comment.
