Failures of the care system

Justin Webb’s account of his mother’s last years was heartbreaking, showing the limitations of our care system. I recently suffered a severe spine problem, leaving me incapacitated. After four hospital admissions, I was sent home with the instruction: ‘Stay in your bedroom.’ And there I was abandoned. I am now totally reliant on a carer.
