Meghan aide jets off to a new role
SELF-PROFESSED climate warriors the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attracted some criticism when it emerged that Prince Harry had used private jets for six out of ten flights he took after marrying Meghan. Now there’s a further eco-headache for the couple – with one of their top aides flying the Royal nest to join a charity dedicated to reducing carbon emissions.
Samantha Cohen, pictured right with Meghan and the Queen, resigned as private secretary to the Sussexes in October and has taken a job with Cool Earth, an organisation that aims to halt tropical deforestation. One of its partners is the Royal Commonwealth Society, so Sam and her former employers could be rubbing shoulders again in the not-too-distant future.
