Stephen Gethins is defending the UK’s slenderest majority of only two votes in North East Fife – but it seems he has bigger concerns than retaining his seat. Asked by Holyrood magazine for his ‘greatest fear’ last week, he replied: ‘When I was a kid, I read way too much about the Loch Ness monster... to this day, it scares me a wee bit.’
