Buying a new car? Stick to white

If you’re investing in a new set of wheels, opting for a light colour will keep you safer on the road, according to an Australian study.

An analysis of more than 800,000 accidents over two decades found that dark-coloured cars were 12 per cent more likely to crash than white ones, and nearly 47 per cent more likely at dusk or dawn.
