GIVEN Nicola Sturgeon wanted to use Friday’s Brexit day to set out her dream of an independent Scotland in the EU, she probably hoped to avoid unduly upsetting our continental cousins. A shame then, that in taking questions at her press conference, she turned to the reporter from Italian state broadcaster TG3 and said: ‘That gentleman in the middle... oh, I’m sorry, lady.’
