A point of honour

I have finally found something on which to agree with a Labour MP! Lisa Nandy declares that the word ‘empire’ should be dropped from public service honours such as the Order of the British Empire. We haven’t had an empire for more than two generations. As these honours are confined to Commonwealth citizens, we should change OBE to OBC. Geoff Tong, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire
