Seek romance? Then take a hike
A HIKE up a mountain is a more popular first date than a slap-up dinner for Britons aged 40 to 60, a study has revealed.
For those aged between 50 and 60, a hike was the top choice of first date with 46 per cent choosing it and 39 per cent opting for an evening in a restaurant. In the 40 to 50 age range, a hike was picked by 36 per cent compared to 29 per cent choosing dinner, research by farawayfurniture.com found.
The top first date choice for the 20 to 30 age range was mini-golf, with 51 per cent opting for it.
