Bumbling leaders are talk of the toon
WHEN Boris Johnson’s adviser, Dominic Cummings, suggested the PJ Masks, pictured, would make a better Cabinet than the current incumbents, it left Holyrood wags wondering which children’s cartoon would be a good substitute for Scotland’s own leaders. One suggestion, Paw Patrol, about a group of puppies trying to save a town often brought to its knees by a bumbling political chief, was deemed to be a little ‘too close to the bone’.
WITH no independence referendum in sight, it seems Nationalist MPs have to find other ways to occupy their time. With the Cabinet reshuffle in full flow on Thursday, the mischievous member for Glasgow South, Stewart McDonald, joked: ‘This is where it gets fun to ring Tory MPs from a withheld number.’
