MUGGED... FOR HIS LOO ROLLS

DESPITE calls for calm, shoppers yesterday continued to fill up their trolleys with multi-packs. And in one extraordinary incident, a man was mugged for his loo rolls after leaving a Savers store in Harringay, North London.

The 56-year-old, identified only as Dinedra, told onlookers: ‘Is this what we have come to? It’s not the value of the toilet roll, it’s the principle.’
