The selfish side of the virus crisis
When I see panic-buying due to Covid-19, I wonder if we have a right to call ourselves ‘Great’ Britain or the ‘United’ Kingdom. Despite Government appeals for us to stop stockpiling, selfish people, with no consideration to the vulnerable, are doing the exact opposite.

With so many things being cancelled, might I suggest suspending trading on the stock market? The virus is bad enough without spivs in the City profiting from betting on shares falling, as our pension funds take a pounding.
