IT seems Scots have several

coping mechanisms in mind when it comes to weeks of home working and social isolation.

On Wednesday I made a quick trip to the Argos up the hill from the parliament.

There were five customers in front of me and every single one was buying some form of home exercise equipment – kettlebells, yoga mats or dumbbell trees. On my way home I stopped in at the supermarket and could barely move for trolleys bearing beer, wine and spirits.
