Housing boom after lockdown

-

ONE of Britain’s biggest estate agents saw a record number of enquiries from prospective buyers last week, as the housing market in England burst out of lockdown gloom.

It’s hoped a similar pattern will emerge in Scotland. Savills said expressions of interest in homes for sale were up 30 per cent on last year. Some 906 homes were sold on Wednesday and 1,883 listed for sale, said website View My Chain.
