Amy: This is the life holed up at home

AMY Macdonald can cope with lockdown because she is used to sitting around doing nothing on tour.

The 32-year-old singer-songwriter, who has sold 12 million albums since her debut This Is The Life in 2007, is holed up at her Glasgow home with footballer husband Richard Foster and their miniature schnauzer Arnie.

Ms Macdonald, pictured, said: ‘I’m used to sitting about doing nothing so I’ve coped quite well.

‘I’ve coped better than some of my mates who are not used to that.

‘When I’m on tour I spend 5 per cent of my time onstage and 95 per cent sitting about waiting to go onstage, so I’m used to the boring days.’
