A SCOTTISH
curling champ is beating lockdown by training in her parents’ kitchen. All rinks are shut, but Sophie Sinclair, pictured, has found the hardwood floor is ‘very slippy’ and a good substitute for ice as she chases her Winter Olympics dream. The Queensferry native was all set for the World Championships in Canada in March, only for the event to be cancelled. She’s now got one chance – at next year’s tournament – to get herself into Team GB. Good luck, Sophie.
