curling champ is beating lockdown by training in her parents’ kitchen. All rinks are shut, but Sophie Sinclair, pictured, has found the hardwood floor is ‘very slippy’ and a good substitute for ice as she chases her Winter Olympics dream. The Queensferr­y native was all set for the World Championsh­ips in Canada in March, only for the event to be cancelled. She’s now got one chance – at next year’s tournament – to get herself into Team GB. Good luck, Sophie.
