CARING FOR A BROKEN BONE

1 Use your hands to support the injured body part. Place padding, or a towel, around it.

2 If the patient is bleeding, cover the wound with a sterile dressing and secure with a bandage.

3 CALL 999. Keep the casualty still while you wait for help.
