The 2003 romantic drama The Room ranks alongside Ed Wood’s Plan 9 From Outer Space as one of the worst movies ever. In Netflix’s rather better – and this time intentionally funny – biopic, brothers James and Dave Franco play the aspiring actors Tommy Wiseau and Greg Sestero, whose unusual friendship led to the making of the duff film, based on Tommy’s jealousy of Greg’s new girlfriend, Amber (Alison Brie).
