Cummings critics are acting like children

-

Many of those that you reported on last week demonstrating against Boris Johnson’s adviser Dominic Cummings came across as vicious, insulting and childish. Most of us grew out of holding up cardboard with pointless rubbish drawn on it when we were very young. Not this lot.

I read your revelations last week about how one person who reported on Dominic Cummings’s excursion during lockdown had made a similar trip himself, and how another had made up his claim to have seen Cummings out and about in Durham.

But this does not excuse what Mr Cummings did. I feel totally let down by his actions and the subsequent justification for them by Boris Johnson. It is no surprise that people are now ignoring the lockdown rules.

You reported that Left-wing writer Andy Dawson threatened to inflict violence on Michael Gove and his wife Sarah Vine on Twitter, after the Cabinet Office Minister voiced his support for Dominic Cummings. I think Mr Dawson needs to take a good look in the mirror.

Teacher Alom Shaha is employed at Camden School for Girls, you reported, yet tweeted in a foul-mouthed way about Michael Gove and Sarah Vine. Given his abusive language, what is he teaching the pupils?
