Winning is all that matters for Trump

SNOOKER: Judd Trump has the world at his feet — and snooker’s top star is hungry for history.

The world No 1 has pocketed a record six ranking titles this season and, if he can successfully defend his World Championship crown in Sheffield later this year, it would be the most successful season in the sport’s history. ‘Winning six events is a real achievement, but if I could win the World Championship that would probably be the best season of all time,’ revealed Trump. ‘It’s another record to aim at, especially because nobody has ever defended the World Championship after their first year of winning it. ‘But the pressure just isn’t there for me. I’ve won it before, so I don’t really have anything to lose.’
