STRICTLY ISOLATION MAY BE STEP TOO FAR
STRICTLY is saved. BBC bosses have confirmed that, unlike reality TV show The Apprentice, axed due to coronavirus shooting restrictions, Strictly Come Dancing can go ahead.
The ratings winner, which usually airs from September through to December, is likely to be shorter this year, with several changes put in place. The possible restrictions include the isolation of the stars with their dance partners.
The fabled ‘curse of Strictly’ has seen a number of novices couple up with their instructors romantically as well as on the dance floor – I’m not sure many married stars’ partners are going to be too keen for their spouse to get this year’s call.
