Eurovision saga won’t get nul points from me
AS an avowed Eurovision fan who once travelled to Belgium to watch the results come in at a special theme party, I was saddened to see the world’s largest music concert axed this year.
However, for the millions of bereft Europop fanatics like me, help is at hand. A new Netflix movie, Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga, gives the camp tournament the comedy treatment with Hollywood A-listers Will Ferrell and Rachel McAdams as entrants.
While not the same as the real thing, it may be the sunshine hit fans need. However, I’m told it doesn’t answer the fundamental question – why is Australia included in the competition?
