Model Holly’s the latest child to hit the big time
THEIR father is one of Scotland’s most successful celebrity chefs.
Now Gordon Ramsay’s five children are finding fame in their own right.
The TV star – notorious for his foul mouth and straight talking on his cooking shows – is seeing Megan, twins Holly and Jack, Matilda and baby Oscar are emerging from his shadow.
From modelling and military service to academia, each has fashioned their own career.
One daughter is a chip off the old block, becoming a chef like her father, while even his one-year-old has amassed 258,000 followers on social media.
Ramsay, originally from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, is an internationally renowned chef with a string of successful restaurants and hit TV shows.
Among the high achievers of his children is model daughter Holly, 20, who has now signed with Established Models – the agency’s high-profile clients include Burberry, Versace and Tom Ford.
She uses her social media accounts to share pictures of her modelling shoots as well as her enviable figure. Last week she made a point of thanking her mother, Tana, describing the 45year-old as ‘the strongest woman I know’ adding: ‘I look up to you every day.’
The emotional post said she was lucky to have ‘amazing, kindhearted and generous sisters’.
The Mail on Sunday revealed earlier this year that her twin Jack is carving out a career in the Royal Marines.
The former Dulwich College and Exeter University student gave up his pampered lifestyle when he began training at one of Britain’s toughest military units at Lympstone, Devon.
He featured in an episode of the Channel 4 series Born Famous last year that saw privileged children discover what life could have been like if they had their parents’ humble beginnings.
Jack admitted he had ‘grown up in a bubble’.
Last summer Ramsay’s eldest child, Megan, 22, graduated from Oxford Brookes University – the first in the family to get a degree.
An overjoyed Ramsay, 53, gushed on Instagram alongside a picture of her in her gown and cap that he was ‘so proud’ of her.
Tana lost a baby boy, Rocky, while five months pregnant in 2016.
The following year Megan ran the London Marathon in memory of her little brother and to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Youngest daughter Matilda, who is 18 and known as Tilly, followed in her father’s footsteps to become a television chef.
She presented the CBBC show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch between 2015 and 2019. She has been a keen cook from a young age and has featured on screen alongside her father.
It was reported this year that bosses behind Strictly Come Dancing asked her to go on the show. The youngest member of the Ramsay siblings is Oscar, who was born in April last year.
The chef announced his youngest son’s arrival on Twitter saying: ‘After 3 Baftas and one Emmy... finally we have won an Oscar.’
