JEWELLERY designer Theodora Warre – great-granddaugh­ter of former crown jeweller Harry Garrard – says that although she ‘learnt a lot’ during her time working on magazines such as Russian Vogue and Glamour, she wouldn’t do it again. Why? The hours were too long.

Theodora, right,whose family created Princess Beatrice’s wedding tiara, admits: ‘I thought at the time it was a dream, but it’s not as glamorous as it sounds, that’s for sure. I was on a plane a lot of the time. We were doing lots of cover-shoots in LA or New York where all the celebs were.

‘Would I do it again if I was given my time? Probably not – but having said that, I learnt a lot.’ Planes, LA, celebritie­s? You poor thing, Theodora...
