SHVED SENT TO BELGIUM ON LOAN
CELTIC have offloaded winger Marian Shved to Belgian club KV Mechelen on a season-long loan.
Signed for a fee in the region of £1.8million on the watch of former boss Brendan Rodgers in January 2019, Ukrainian Shved was immediately loaned back to Karpaty Lviv.
By the time he checked in properly in Glasgow, the 23-year-old had a new manager to impress in Neil Lennon but leaves without making a start for Celtic.
Despite scoring on his debut in a Champions League qualifier against Nomme Kalju, he went on to make only two more substitute appearances. Mechelen are understood to have an option to buy Shved (pictured).
