STEPHEN ROBINSON claimed that referee Greg Aitken called it wrong when Jordan White was denied his first Motherwell goal.

Assistant John McCrossan called offside on Sherwin Seedorf in the penalty box and the first-half strike was disallowed.

Aitken, according to Robinson, informed White that Seedorf was interfering with goalkeeper Ofir Marciano’s line of vision.

However, Robinson believes the goal should have stood and earned his team a 1-0 victory.

‘After seeing it back, the screenshot, as the ball is hit he (Seedorf) is not in line with the goalkeeper,’ said the Fir Park boss. ‘It comes off their player. What you would do for VAR up here? I think the assistant has called it from 40 yards away, the ref is not in line with the ball.

‘I have seen them given the other way — and I am sure Jack (Ross) has stood here and said it should have been disallowed.
