Scion of an acting dynasty, but whose grandshon ish thish?

HE has inherited both his grandfather’s famous surname and good looks.
Now Dashiell ‘Dash’ Connery has spoken of his dream to follow in Sir Sean’s acting footsteps.
The 23-year-old, whose father is actor and director Jason Connery, has already landed his first professional acting role, in a music video for US duo Twenty One Pilots.
He said: ‘Having a family like mine definitely makes me want to be the absolute best actor I can be.
‘They definitely have a big influence on me and my life.
‘They could not be more supportive. I’m very lucky.
‘But the last thing I want is for people to think I only got a part because of my name.’
He added: ‘This might sound real cheesy but acting has taken me to the best place in my life. It feels good to find your passion and follow it.’
Sir Sean appeared in his first Bond film in his early thirties but his grandson got started in films when he was only 12, with a small role in his father’s movie Pandemic.
He also helped out on the set of Tommy’s Honour, starring Sam Neill and Peter Mullan.
Dashiell’s mother is Mia Sara, who played Matthew Broderick’s love interest in cult 80s movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
His father Jason believes Dashiell has the talent to be a star in his own right. Jason, who now lives in Edinburgh, said: ‘My son is acting out in LA just now, doing his thing, and he picks up so much. He’s a real sponge. He was born in California and has an American accent but he loves to do the Scottish accent from Glasgow and the Borders.
‘When he comes to Scotland he always has a ball because it’s such a different lifestyle.’
He added: ‘In LA there isn’t really a place to go like a Scottish pub and Dashiell loves going to a pub, having a pint and talking rubbish.’
