SWIFT LESSON IN BEING FEARLESS

-

WHAT do you do if a music mogul buys your master tapes and sells on your back catalogue without your knowledge?

Well, if you are pop superstar Taylor Swift, you take control by banning the songs from being used in films or on TV, then re-record all your old numbers and reissue your albums in your own name.

The artist did just that last week, releasing Fearless (Taylor’s version).

The new recording of her 2008 breakthrough album has headed straight to number one in the iTunes chart. That’s one way to teach rich men to stop profiteering off the talent of young women. Bravo.
