Blue: Pain And Pleasure

A celebration of Joni Mitchell’s (right) seminal album Blue, marking the 50th anniversary of its release. Emeli Sandé, Beth Orton, Ellie Goulding, James Taylor, Graham Nash, Sharon Corr, Greta Scacchi, Seal and Elvis Costello are among those paying tribute to the artist and record.

In the first edition of Sarah Kendall: Talking Story (Radio 4, 6.30pm) the comic talks to actor Chris Addison about his journey from joke-writing to screenwriting and directing.

Open Country (Radio 4, 3pm) features a kayak trip across a sea loch in western Scotland, as John Aitchison searches for the early signs of spring.
