Star-studded cop show with a fantasy twist

Terry Pratchett fans are going to be beside themselves with glee – this eight-part

series is inspired by some of his most popular characters. The action follows the City Watch, a bunch of misfits (including Jo Eaton-Kent, above, and Marama Corlett, inset) who come together in an effort to defeat a plot to resurrect a dragon capable of destroying life. Richard Dormer plays the motley bunch’s leader, while Matt Berry, Anna Chancellor, James Fleet, Ingrid Oliver, Ruth Madeley and Paul Kaye are among the star-studded supporting cast.
