Olympics 2020: Opening Ceremony

It may be a year later than originally planned, but the Games of the XXXII Olympiad are finally about to be declared open in Tokyo. Due to the pandemic the ceremony is also expected to be simpler than initially intended. And although there won’t be a crowd at the city’s Olympic Stadium, it should still be a spectacular start to the event. Highlights can be seen on BBC1 at 7.30pm.
